I wasn't sure about the schedule, but your blog post convinced me to go for it. I will likely have a similar pace to you, so it all sounds manageable.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18273624873614320857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8613788763092317355.post-51166103819788475532013-02-02T22:39:46.866-05:002013-02-02T22:39:46.866-05:00Good luck to you, Laura! Just working on building my base back up.

As I said, it's a challenging plan, but it's totally manageable. Honestly, the long runs were the hardest because of the increased speed. Just be sure you are in good health with a solid base, because the stress of running those long runs at a faster than normal pace can be detrimental. But having 4 days off of running is a huge plus and allows more recovery.

Looking forward to hearing your experience as you are going through it or after it's done! My goal is also 2:30 (I did a 10K in 1:12 so I thought this would be a manageable goal but of course I'd be thrilled if it was less!). This is my first half and so far the 10K is my longest run I've done. My neighbor and I are training together, we have 12 weeks!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05269719761440119199noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8613788763092317355.post-9741182790069305292012-07-10T12:19:56.040-04:002012-07-10T12:19:56.040-04:00I have used this plan for the first time 6 years a...I have used this plan for the first time 6 years ago and, like you finished within seconds of my expected pace. I have been looking around for another plan that is 3-days a weeks since I also enjoy cycling and swimming which I am not willing to give up. Your post convinced me to go back to the plan. I agree that it is challenging but doable and I always felt like I accomplished something. Thanks for the reminder.
BridgetBridget Perry-Gorehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08049284220024789890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8613788763092317355.post-37479325330349598732012-06-14T03:48:28.322-04:002012-06-14T03:48:28.322-04:00Great marathon race training, thanks for sharing t...Great marathon race training, thanks for sharing this to us and looking forward always for more updates.
Spartan300workoutJeric Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09192359997518991173noreply@blogger.com
